With the team's aid, his essence is transferred into one of Spartan's advanced cybernetic bodies—only for Paul to violently reject the new form, forcing the WildC.A.T.S to restrain him and return him to his original body. Shadowhawk seeks out the WildC.A.T.S to see if they can help him beat the AIDS virus. They transfer Shadowhawk's essence into one of Spartan's spare cybernetic bodies which appears to cure him but Paul "rejects" the transplant and the WildC.A.T.S have to restrain him and send him back to his old body.
