Shanna saves Dirk and his men from sabretooth tigers in the neanderthal arena and they barely avoid an aerial attack by a pack of hungry pterodactyls who begin feasing on the primitives. Trying to make their way out of the subterranean golden city, which is also quickly filling with raptors, Shanna and the pirates once again encounter Axe-Man and his goons.
