Shazam!: To Hell and Back #[nn]

In the near future, Shazam leads a team of heroes investigating a string of super-villain deaths, but the lingering shadow of a pact with Neron gnaws at him—causing his allies to question his judgment, and his loyalty, as the line between justice and corruption begins to blur.

In "Devil's Due," Shazam is manipulated by Neron into committing murder, turning his powers against his own moral code. With the rest of the team battling the corrupted hero, Billy remains trapped in Hell, where the true danger still waits to be unleashed.

In "A Fault to Heaven," Billy struggles with unpredictable powers as a student at Teen Titans Academy, haunted by guilt after Freddy’s health declines and he can no longer share his magic. When the Rock of Eternity vanishes into the Underworld, Billy chooses to act alone, determined to reclaim his powers and save his friend—before it’s too late.

In "Sons of Perdition!", Billy and Dane—whose true identity as Nevermore, son of the Underlord, has just been revealed—must navigate the treacherous depths of Hell alongside the cunning Neron, racing toward the Rock of Eternity with only each other’s trust to guide them.

In the scorched reaches of Hell, Billy Batson meets a younger Black Adam, desperate to rewrite a grim future where the Four Riders of the Apocalypse bring ruin to Earth. With Billy still struggling to reclaim his powers, the two must forge an uneasy alliance—before time runs out and Freddy and Dane vanish into the flames.
