# Sheena, Queen of the Jungle #1 This debut issue features multiple Sheena stories, including "Blood Hunger," in which Sheena and her companion Dhoma battle to survive a village fire set by hostile forces and face being burned to death. In another adventure, Sheena and a man named Bob encounter a steamship on the river, pursue enemies on canoes, and are attacked by hostile tribesmen with arrows. A third story involves Sheena and Bob following native guides through desert terrain in search of the Pasha, discovering the guides have betrayed them to lead them into a trap where they are forced to fight the villainous natives in hand-to-hand combat.
