“The Hand of Fate”

In "The Hand of Fate," the escalating clash between Combatra and the mysterious Hand of Five draws in military forces, culminating in the enemy's sudden retreat. Back at the sanctuary, Dr. Tambura gathers the Shogun Warriors, puzzled by the strange, coordinated attacks—each monster vanishing without explanation. As they piece together the pattern, a shocking revelation unfolds: a colossal meteor is hurtling toward Earth, setting the stage for a crisis beyond their control. Written by Doug Moench and illustrated by Herb Trimpe, with inks by Jack Abel, colors by Carl Gafford, and letters by John Costanza, the cover by Terry Austin captures the impending doom in stark detail.
