Ilongo goes to investigate the meteor that crashed into the ocean and sees it was a giant egg as it hatches a huge tentacled sea monster with a giant eye in its mouth. Dubbed the "Starchild", the monster surfaces and attacks the city of Manakara. Ilongo calls for Dangard Ace and after entering the robot, battles the monster. During the battle, a building gets damaged. When Dangard Ace has to prop up the building to keep it from falling over leaving himself a sitting duck, the Starchild suddenly evolves by growing wings and flies off. Meanwhile in Japan Genji gets attacked by a giant monster.
