Sigil #1

Jul 2000 · CrossGen · 2.95 USD; 4.25 CAD
“It's Not The Power That Makes A Hero”

In *Sigil* #1, writer Barbara Kesel and artist Ben Lai launch a bold new chapter in the CrossGen universe, introducing a world where power is tied to ancient sigils and destiny. When Sam and Roiya enter Tanipal's Pseudosaur combat rings, violence erupts as Tchlusarud attacks and Roiya is mortally wounded—only for a mysterious Saurian to mark Sam with a sigil that unleashes a surge of power and triggers an unexpected change in Roiya. The cover by Ben Lai and Ray Lai captures the moment’s intensity, setting the stage for a story where heroism may not come from strength, but from what lies beneath.
