IDW's Silent Hill: Sinner's Reward reaches its third issue with a cover by Steph Stamb that captures the franchise's suffocating dread perfectly — a woman's face emerges from near-total darkness, her features bathed in deep crimson light, her expression caught somewhere between fear and grim resolve. The stark contrast of red and black gives the image an almost painterly intensity that feels right at home in Silent Hill's nightmarish world. Tom Waltz and Stamb's 2008 series continues to prove that the fog-shrouded town translates beautifully to the comics page.
