“Three into Nothing Goes...”

In "Three into Nothing Goes...", the Silver Surfer ventures to Earth to retrieve Reed and Sue Richards, along with their son Franklin, in a move that raises more questions than answers. Transported through a black hole, the group finds themselves in a mysterious magic dimension where they face the three Elders who survived Galactus’s ill-fated feast. As Sue is overwhelmed by the malevolent presence of Malice, the team’s resolve is tested in a realm where reality bends and ancient forces stir. Written by Steve Englehart and illustrated by Ron Lim, with inks by Joe Rubinstein, colors by Tom Vincent, and letters by Ken Bruzenak, this 1988 Marvel classic features a cover by Ron Lim and Joe Rubinstein.

Surfer heads to earth to collect Reed and Sue and brings them along with (in a dubious parenting choice) Franklin to the dying Galactus who seems to be expiring from Elder indigestion (he ate five of them a few issues ago). Our heroes enter a black hole which teleports them to a magic dimension where they confront the three Elders who did not get swallowed by the planet eater. Sue is overcome by the evil Malice persona.
