Sissi Novelas Graficas #201
In "… Y descubrió el amor," Annie finds herself drawn to Tomás, the new accountant at work, but her growing feelings are tested when a friend’s rejection sparks a chain of misunderstandings. Torn between suspicion and affection, Annie takes a desperate step—stealing company funds in a misguided act of revenge, only to misdirect her guilt and send Tomás a cryptic note that changes everything. With emotional stakes rising and secrets unfolding, this poignant tale from 1963, illustrated with quiet intensity by C. Rodríguez, captures a moment of fragile hope and mistaken trust. The striking cover, by Emilio Freixas, mirrors the story’s tension with a single, revealing glance.

Over time, Annie starts to fall for the new accountant at work. But when Annie's friend asks him out and is rejected, she steals money from the company for revenge. Annie thinks Tomás is responsible and has taken the money so he can propose to her. She borrows money from her aunt and sends him a note, telling him to return the stolen money and use the money she is giving him to start a new life somewhere else because she could never be the wife of a thief. What she doesn't realize is that Tomás is the boss's son and had no reason to steal the money.
