"Crocodile Kill" follows Clint Masters, a renowned soldier of fortune, as he pursues the international thief Torha Karf across India to recover a stolen ruby belonging to the Rajah of Brainpura. After a grueling two-week chase, Clint corners Karf on the banks of the Ganges River, where Karf attempts to escape by throwing the ruby to a crocodile. Using a vine lasso, Clint manages to noose the crocodile's jaws, retrieve the jewel, and ultimately stab the beast, earning the reward the grateful Rajah bestows upon him. A second story titled "Blood in the Scuppers" depicts a crew of sailors navigating a treacherous scheme involving crossbones and hidden allegiances aboard a ship.
