“Amer devoir”

In "Amer devoir," Longshot, Dr. Strange, and Quark confront a chilling transformation when Rita becomes a hollow shell in Mojo’s twisted new Earth cult. As Mojo’s brainwashing spreads, Longshot grapples with his past and uncovers a deeper purpose—liberating his people from servitude. With art by Arthur Adams and inks by Whilce Portacio and Scott Williams, and a striking cover by Ciro Tota, this 1989 issue blends surreal menace with a quiet resolve, setting the stage for a rebellion that reaches beyond Earth.
