Spécial USA #17
"Miko" is a chillingly inventive tale from 1985, blending Ray Bradbury’s and Al Feldstein’s sharp storytelling with Jack Davis’s masterful art—his inks lending the mechanical coffin a sinister, almost living presence. The story follows a man’s desperate attempt to cut funeral costs, only to unleash a self-burying machine that turns his brother’s prank into a horrifyingly literal grave. Jordi Bernet’s striking cover captures the tale’s darkly absurd tone, making this a standout in the Spécial USA series.
