Captain Hugo of the World Space Forces discovers an ancient alien civilization's hieroglyphics and code messages revealing a bridge to another dimension, which the aliens call Lavana and consider their heaven. When Hugo attempts to use the bridge's full power to reach the ship, his commanding officer General Mutrie must stop him to prevent the destruction of Earth, leading to a confrontation where Hugo is forced to abandon his mission.
