Sparkler Comics #46

Sparkler Comics #46 is an anthology issue featuring multiple stories. "Sparkler Salutes" recounts the heroic actions of S/Sgt. George J. Hall of Stoneham, Massachusetts, who single-handedly attacked and neutralized three German machine-gun nests during combat at the Anzio beachhead in Italy on May 23, 1944, for which he was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. The issue also includes a "News Notes" section discussing postage stamps from liberated Czechoslovakia and occupied Philippines, as well as various stamp and collectible merchandise advertisements and offers throughout.
