Sparkler Comics #71

This anthology issue contains two main stories: a pirate adventure featuring a character in a red outfit and purple pants who encounters various nautical mishaps and schemes involving merry-go-rounds and hotels; and "Abbie and Slats" by Raeburn van Buren, a police procedural involving a missing girl named Craggy-Grogging, where officers at Tookerville Police Headquarters investigate complaints and uncover that the girl is actually the daughter of a wealthy man, leading to complications when she is discovered and her identity confirmed. The issue also features a secondary story about characters named Candy and Jaboo planning to buy a wedding present at Hallmark's jewelry store, only to encounter the "Flamingo Diamond" which gets stolen during their visit.
