An anthology issue featuring "Speed Spaulding," in which the hero volunteers to teach boxing at a boys' club in Hell's Kitchen while attending a military academy, only to become entangled with a gang of arsonists whose activities threaten the academy's fate. A second story involves a theatrical cast stranded on the road due to measles quarantine, while a mysterious bomb threat and a decapitated body discovered at a wrecked building lead police detective Chief Thomas F. Bynes to investigate the identity of the bomber, with a witness claiming to recognize the culprit.
