Corporal Canuck is sent on assignment into the Canadian wilderness to investigate the illegal excavation and theft of pitchblende, used by scientists to extract uranium. He and Sgt. Frank encounter the suspicious Le Rond, a trapper who is in fact a communist agent named Pierre Le June. Le June has murdered Le Rond and assumed his identity, and is assisting in the theft of pitchblende.
