Spider-Man Comics Weekly #33
In "How Green Was My Goblin!", Stan Lee and Jack Kirby deliver a classic clash of myth and madness as Loki’s sorcery transforms Crusher Creel into the Absorbing Man, setting off a chain of events that pulls Thor into a battle for Earth’s safety. When reporter Harris Hobbs alerts Dr. Blake to the threat, Thor must abandon a dinner date with Jane to confront the rampaging giant—only to be interrupted by Balder, who spirits him away to Asgard after Loki abducts Jane. The cover by John Romita captures the moment’s tension, while Chic Stone’s inks and Stan Goldberg’s colors bring the epic showdown to life in a 1973 UK comic priced at 0.05 GBP.
