Once recovered, the web-slinger must face off against a zoo full of rampaging animals unleashed by Ock, culminating in a brutal showdown with the villain himself. Written by Stan Lee and Geneviève Coulomb, with art by Steve Ditko and coloring by Andy Yanchus, this 2002 Panini France release features a gripping tale of resilience and disguise, with a cover by Studio Vianney Jalin.

Peter has the 24 hour flu when Doc Ock captures Betty Brant in hopes of luring Spider-Man into battle. Ock beats the under the weather web-head and unmasks him, but everyone thinks it’s just Peter trying to be brave by impersonating Spider-Man. Once he has recovered, Spider-Man battles through the wild animals Ock has released from the zoo to take on old six-arms himself.
