Spider-Man: The Death of Gwen Stacy #[nn]
In *Spider-Man: The Death of Gwen Stacy* #1999, written by Gerry Conway and illustrated by Gil Kane with inks by John Romita and Tony Mortellaro, the story reaches its heart-wrenching climax with the chilling return of the Green Goblin. As Norman Osborn, broken and desperate, finally remembers his past and turns his rage on the one person Spider-Man loves most, Gwen Stacy finds herself trapped on the Brooklyn Bridge in a moment that changes everything.
