In "Spindelmannen möter ärkefienden Gröna Trollet!", Peter Parker visits the doctor to learn that his aunt May is unwell, adding pressure as Spindelmannen is tricked into a battle with villains using a gas that dulls his spider-sense. Forced to switch to Peter Parker, he’s secretly pursued by the Green Goblin, who captures him outside his home. As Peter faces confinement in the Goblin’s hidden lair, the tension builds with his growing fear for May’s reaction to the chaos. Written by Stan Lee and illustrated by John Romita with inks by Mickey Demeo and John Romita, the cover by John Romita and Mike Esposito captures the moment of dread and danger.

Peter går till doktorn och får veta att faster May har dålig hälsa. Spindelmannen luras in i en strid med skurkar som bara är ute efter att utsätta honom för en mystisk gas som dämpar hans spindelsinne. Han byter om till Peter Parker och blir i hemlighet förföljd av Gröna Trollet. Skurken konfronterar och fångar in Peter utanför hemmet. Hela tiden är Peter orolig för att faster May ska bli upprörd av bråket. När Peter sitter bunden i Trollets hemliga högkvarter drar skurken av sig masken och visar sig vara Norman Osborn.
