Stålmannen #10/1963
"Den andre Stålmannen!" is a poignant chapter in the Stålmannen saga, written by Bill Finger and illustrated by Wayne Boring with inks by Stan Kaye. When Stålmannen promises entertainment to children at an orphanage but can't deliver the circus, he improvises with circus animals and tricks outside the building—his memories drifting back to his own childhood as Stålbabyn, the time he was separated from Jonathan and Martha Kent during a boat trip and ended up in a series of foster homes before reuniting with them. A 1.25 SEK comic from 1963, this issue captures a quiet, heartfelt moment in the character's journey.
