Star Brand #17
In "The Big Fix," Keith confronts the lingering aftermath of the Pitt explosion by visiting Teddy at Bethesda Naval Hospital, where she remains in a coma following a failed dream analysis. With Nightmask’s fractured psyche threatening to overwhelm her mind, Keith fights to reclaim control and reaches her not as a superhero, but as himself—offering a fragile, heartfelt connection that may just be enough to bring her back. Written by Fabian Nicieza and illustrated by Ron Lim, with inks by Mark McKenna, colors by Marc Siry, and letters by Rick Parker, this emotionally charged issue finds power not in spectacle, but in a quiet, desperate act of remembrance. The cover, by John Byrne, captures the tension of that moment in stark, striking detail.
