“The Town was Talking”

In "The Town was Talking," Peter and Dolly’s chance meeting on a train to Westmead sparks a quiet romance that quickly stirs tension in the close-knit community. As Peter settles into managing his uncle’s farm and Dolly adjusts to life with her family after their move, the growing bond between them faces resistance from those around them—especially Dolly’s former boyfriend and Maureen, who both have their own feelings. Ramón Torrents’ expressive art brings the emotional undercurrents to life, while Carlo Jacono’s cover captures the quiet drama of a town watching, whispering, and waiting.
