All the girls in the typing pool have a crush on the junior partner in the firm, but Lois is particularly smitten with him. She dreams of being with him, but he doesn't seem to notice her. One Saturday, the mail office clerk shows up at her apartment building and insists she spend a day in the country with him. Having nothing better to do, she agrees and has a wonderful time. They make a date for the next day, but when Alan asks her out, she stands up Gordon to go out with her dream man and has a miserable time.
