“Two Faces of Love”

In "Two Faces of Love," Myra returns to London after years in Australia, drawn back to the city where she once lived. Reconnecting with a mysterious man at Logan's Flats leads to a fleeting, unforgettable evening—only for him to vanish the next day, leaving behind a cryptic note. As Myra begins a new life working at a country hotel, she’s surprised to find Paul, the man she now believes she’s lost, standing before her—engaged, and seemingly unaware of their shared past. The story unfolds with quiet intensity, rendered in expressive lines by Masip, while Mario Tempesti’s evocative cover captures the bittersweet tension of memory and longing.

Myra had grown up in a tough part of London before her family had emigrated to Australia when she was twelve. Now, eight years later, she has returned to London to find work. Revisiting Logan's Flats, she runs into a man and shares a magical evening with him. But the next day, he has checked out of his hotel, leaving only a short note. Assuming she would never see him again, she gets a job in a small country hotel. Paul is there and Myra discovers he is engaged.
