“Valentine's Day”

"Valentine's Day" in Star Love Stories #460 (1972) finds Sandra, a restless young woman in the quiet Scottish village of Kelsie, drawn to the mystery of the Stenhouse family's castle on Hope Island—where she occasionally hears music drifting across the water. Her routine shifts unexpectedly when she arrives on the island to discover Paul Stenhouse, his clothes stolen and left exposed after a prank by his brother. Ron Lumsden's expressive art brings the story’s quiet tension and romantic longing to life, while Fernando Fernández’s cover captures the island’s dreamlike allure.
