“Two of a Kind”

In "Two of a Kind," cabaret singer Tracy forms an unexpected bond with Marion after a chance encounter in London, leading to a shared flat and a growing friendship. When Marion’s boyfriend from up north arrives to take her back, Tracy finds herself drawn to him—especially after discovering his hidden talent as a songwriter, which catapults her into the spotlight. Art by Rodney Sutton brings warmth and quiet tension to this tender, character-driven story of love, choice, and shifting affections.

Tracy, a young cabaret singer, meets Marion shortly after Marion arrives in London when she absentmindedly steps in front of Tracy's car. They soon become friends and Marion shares Tracy's flat with her. Marion's boyfriend from up north had proposed to her, but she wanted to "see some life" before settling down. When Marion's boyfriend arrives to take her back with him, Marion refuses, but Tracy finds herself attracted to him. Tracy discovers Gary is a talented songwriter and she becomes popular singing one of his songs, but her love for him seems hopeless.
