Hazel keeps getting calls for the previous tenant of her flat, who had left two months previously without any forwarding address. When a young engineer from the States insists on talking to her, he tells Hazel the story of how he met his "dream-girl" Julie one night and is desperate to find her again. When a lead suggests Julie could be a receptionist at a local club, he suggests that Hazel go out with him during the evenings to help find Julie. They start spending more time together and Hazel realizes she is falling for him.
