Lynn is engaged to the head car salesman at Broadbent's garage, but an electronic engineer who had been following her tells them that he plans to win Lynn away from him. Glen is accused of a robbery at the garage and fired, but Lynn is convinced he is innocent. She turns to Glen's rival to prove his innocence by planting a bug in another suspect's flat and he agrees to help her.
