Star Trek #53
"Reunion, Part 1" brings together past and present in a heartfelt Star Trek tale from Mike Johnson and Tony Shasteen, whose dynamic art captures the emotional weight of a long-buried history. When the USS Tereshkova encounters the Enterprise, Gaila and Kai are reunited—only to be drawn into a trap by the Orions, who force a dramatic confrontation with their mother, Vila, decades after a fateful escape. The cover by Tony Shasteen perfectly frames the tension of this pivotal moment.
