Ο Πόλεμος των Άστρων [Star Wars] #3
Star Wars #3 (n.d., Kabanas Hellas) delivers a striking blend of cosmic mystery and existential wonder, as Jack Kirby’s visionary storytelling and artistry unfold across time and space. The story begins in ancient times with a monolith guiding a hunter to forge a spear, then leaps to the future where astronaut Woodrow Decker survives a deadly encounter in an alien ruin—only to be transported to a serene countryside where he ages rapidly and is reborn as a new seed, a living embryo meant to carry the monolith’s purpose across the stars. The cover by Rick Hoberg and Dave Cockrum captures the eerie grandeur of this journey, while Kirby’s dynamic interiors and George Roussos’s evocative colors deepen the mythic tone.

The issue starts in the distant past where the monolith instructs a hunter on how to craft a spear and then shifts to the future where two astronauts discover an alien ruin. One of the astronauts is killed by a creature, but the other, Woodrow Decker, is transported into a pastoral countryside by the monolith. Here he rapidly ages until he dies and is converted by the monolith into an embryo-type creature referred to as a 'new seed' to explore the galaxy.
