This second edition collects the six-issue Dark Empire II miniseries, which continues the post-Return of the Jedi saga as the resurrected Emperor Palpatine threatens the New Republic. Written by Tom Veitch with art by Jim Baikie, the story follows Luke Skywalker's struggle with the dark side and Han and Leia's efforts to stop the Emperor's final gambit. This edition features a new cover and corrected coloring compared to the original printing.
