Slaughter Steelgrave seeks to destroy the Citadel of Dreams and Man. The Protectors regroup after being defeated by the Destructors. The Protector traitor, Motormouth, is abandoned. Auntie Tank, Sawtooth and several other Destructors defect to the Protectors to protect Man. Numerous Starriors are destroyed but the Protectors prevail and awaken Man.
