The Fighting Yank battles Nazi agents and Egyptian forces in multiple stories across this anthology issue. "Startling the Black Hawk" follows the Fighting Yank as he combats enemy pirates threatening a tanker at sea, with assistance from the Black Hawk and his men. A separate story features the Fighting Yank confronting Nazi spies infiltrating sacred Egyptian quarters, where he defeats enemy soldiers and protects American interests. The issue also includes "Tommy Joins the Outfit," a Western tale by Donald Bayne Hobart in which a sixteen-year-old orphan named Tommy proves his worth to a cattle-driving crew by capturing rustlers and recovering stolen horses.
