Sting of the Green Hornet #4
In "Chapter IV: Finale for F.D.R.," the Green Hornet and Kato race against time to stop a conspiracy that’s hijacked the identity of President Roosevelt, culminating in a high-stakes showdown on a remote island. With the real FDR still missing and a deadly impostor in control, the duo teams up with military forces to dismantle the Baroness’s operation—only to face a shocking twist as the enemy’s escape sets the stage for a new threat. Written by Jeff Butler and Ron Fortier, with Jeff Butler handling both pencils and cover art, this 1992 issue delivers a tense, action-packed climax in a story that hinges on deception and identity.

Before Captain Burke can shoot him, the Green Hornet spills hot coffee on "FDR" who immediately stands up and draws a weapon. Reid then pushes the armed German's hand, who wounds the Captain instead. "FDR" then kills himself and Reid explains to the Captain who he is, and what’s going on --leaving out the Green Hornet's involvement and hiding his mask. Kato captures the ambulance driver, who reveals where the Baroness, her men, and the real President Roosevelt are located. Soon, the Hornet and Kato, the US Army, the Yankee Commando and the Coast Guard all attack the island where the Baroness is hiding. The Hornet defeats the Baroness in battle, and she is taken into custody. The Hornet and Kato escape after being pardoned -- at least for this adventure-- by the President. On her way to prison, the Baroness kills her 2 army escorts and escapes.
