Pale Peony battles Storm Shadow in the water tower atop his old dojo, where he has kept Morning Light. The Oligarch, Masa, Jilf Sgrobe & Tiff converge toward the water tower, but Tiff overpowers the Oligarch and reveals she hired Storm Shadow to help her get close to him so she could propose an alliance. Sgrobe reveals he's really Zartan and battles Storm Shadow for the sword because it had been crafted by his master Onihashi. Storm Shadow reveals the real sword is in a museum, he's been using the copy; he presents the copy to Zartan as a sign of forgiveness.
