"I Couldn't Resist His Dangerous Embrace" follows a woman named Glenda who falls for politician Len Franklin during his campaign, but ultimately sacrifices their relationship to protect his career. "The Man I Couldn't Marry" tells of Jane, a truck driver's wife, who reconnects with her former love Walt when he returns from being away; she struggles with her feelings for Walt while remaining married, ultimately choosing to stay with her husband. A third story involves Sandra, a secretary hired by businessman Bill, who becomes entangled in office politics and romantic complications when Bill leaves his wife Lloyd Manner's office to pursue Sandra as his new secretary.
