Strange Fantasy #12
In "The Undying Fiend," Professor Wilkins pushes the boundaries of science by keeping brains alive after death—until his experiment with an octopus brain and a mysterious growth serum goes horribly wrong. The creature swells to monstrous size, wreaking havoc across the city as Wilkins races to find a way to stop it. A chilling tale of ambition and consequence, drawn with stark, early-50s horror flair by the Iger Shop team, whose cover and interior art capture the era’s pulp dread.
