David reveals that his tumor -- about 1/2 the size of a banana-- is lodged in the center of his brain. His options are limited, but he rules out surgery, giving him 9 to 15 months to live. Casey and Katchoo are then called to the hospital by Jet after Pia collapses on a club's dance floor. Tambi decides to make good on David's promise and has an actress named Annie Graham help him out. Casey reveals part of her history to Katchoo, Jet and Pia, and then Katchoo comes to a decision that will affect all of their lives.
