Written by Adam Glass and later by Sean Ryan, with art by Federico Dallocchio, Jim Lee, and others, it follows Amanda Waller's Task Force X as they deploy super-villains like Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and King Shark on black-ops missions in a post-Flashpoint DC Universe. The volume also includes the team's involvement in the Trinity War and the fallout from the Crime Syndicate's invasion.
