Shaman já conhece a bela Pássaro da Neve, uma vez que participou de seu nascimento. Acompanhado da moça, ele vai acampar com o amigo Hudson. Mas, durante a noite, Heather, mulher de Hudson, acha estranho o comportamento da jovem e vê-a a transformar-se num pássaro. Shaman explica o porquê da transformação e anima Hudson.
