“Geisterberg um Mitternacht”

In "Geisterberg um Mitternacht," Superman shares a haunting tale from his mother Lara’s memories with children at an orphanage—of Princess Reena, who ventures into the Glass Forest of Krypton and faces a mysterious creature, the Kiri-Vogel, capable of projecting thoughts onto a screen. Written by Elliot Maggin and brought to life by Curt Swan’s pencils with inks by Dick Giordano and Frank McLaughlin, the story blends wonder and quiet tension, while Jim Aparo’s cover captures the eerie beauty of the tale.
