Superman Géant #14
In "Le desperado de l'espace," Lex Luthor's seemingly noble campaign for peace leads to a wedding that takes a bizarre turn when Superman's well-wished kiss causes both bride and groom to vanish. Written by Cary Bates and illustrated by Curt Swan with inks by Frank Chiaramonte and colors by Gene D'Angelo, this 1981 French edition of Superman Géant #14 unfolds with a twist that redefines Luthor's motives—revealing a plan so elaborate it erased even his own memory of its true purpose. The cover by Ross Andru and Dick Giordano captures the moment of disappearance with dramatic flair.
