Terra-Man finds some red kryptonite in space and decides to team up with Luthor. Together, they manage to expose Superman to it, but it just splits him in two. The villains escape to figure out their next step. After harnessing magical energy power, they fight the two Supermen. Terra-Man is captured, but then the Supermen merge again. Luthor, using magical energy, seriously injures Lois. Superman arrives, but Lois is dying due to the energy. Superman's love for Lois overcomes the magical energy which backfires on Luthor, allowing Lois to live and Superman to capture Luthor.
