In "The Journey," Superman reflects on his legacy while visiting the Amazon Fortress, where a tense conversation with Supergirl unfolds as she prepares to join Donna Troy in space. Meanwhile, Talia infiltrates a Peruvian prison to deliver the Blackrock to Lucia, sparking a chain of events that leads to a shocking confrontation—Lucia escapes, overpowers Superman, and pursues Supergirl to the Fortress, only to vanish in a sudden explosion. The issue, written by Mark Verheiden and illustrated by Ed Benes and Ivan Reis with inks by Mariah Benes, Alex Lei, Rob Lea, Oclair Albert, and Marc Campos, features a cover by Ed Benes and Mariah Benes, and reveals a hidden connection between Talia and Lex Luthor’s larger scheme.

Superman visits his Amazon Fortress, and has a discussion with Supergirl about her joining Donna Troy in space. Talia visits Lucia in her Peruvian prison, and gives her the Blackrock. She escapes prison, drawing the attention of Superman and Supergirl. She incapacitates Superman, and follows Supergirl to the Fortress. Supergirl manages to defeat her, but she disappears in an explosion. We find out that Luthor had Talia give her the Blackrock.
