Supermouse battles a gang of sentient machines that have invaded the town and begun taking orders from a criminal king. After the machines capture Supermouse and threaten to take over, he escapes and confronts the machines in a climactic battle. The issue also includes a "Brownie Bear" backup story in which a bear tries to make impossible red-striped paint, and a "Buttercup" story where Buttercup the squirrel accidentally causes chaos while trying to help gather food, eventually leading to a confrontation with larger squirrels over acorns.
