This issue contains three romantic short stories: "Shy in Love," in which Jack Adams has long harbored unrequited feelings for Merry Henry but finally asks her on a date; "Love's Stormy Path," featuring Sally Warren and John Tate, neighbors whose romance is complicated when Sally mistakenly becomes involved with Eddie Coleman, leading to jealousy and conflict; and "Stand-By Date," in which Ruth agrees to attend a show with Ted as a substitute date, only to have Ted's sister Kitty cause problems by trying to separate them, ultimately pushing Ruth away.
