This anthology issue contains multiple love stories. The first story follows a woman who suspects her boyfriend of cheating after he makes their relationship seem miserable, but she discovers through a chance meeting that he has actually been planning a surprise for her. In another story titled "True Love," Ellen Bryce struggles with her mother's pressure to marry the wealthy and accomplished Ralph Kolman, but ultimately realizes she cannot force herself to marry him despite his suitability, leading her to gently refuse his proposal. A third story depicts a conflict between a young woman named Lora and her father over her choice to stay home rather than pursue education and independence, with her father eventually accepting her decision to remain at home.
